Hat tip to Jim Dodd on Labourhome for reading the Green Book. I strongly recommend this to every media reporter, commentator, news editor and programme producer. Perhaps they could reinterview every politician who has used this defence by providing readers, listeners and viewers with the context under which Parliamentary expenses can be claimed under the existing rules. As a Labour Party activist I would appreciate more than just a sorry on their behalf from the Prime Minister.
