Time for a backyard test for every Labour MP

John Prescott Today's outing both on TV and the blogosphere by former Labour Party Deputy Leader John Prescott reminds me that rather than a holiday all members of the PLP should be subject to a backyard test.

How about these questions for starters:

1. how many Labour Party members have they got in their constituency?

2. how many active one-ward branches in their CLP?

3. is the CLP holding regular quorate (if applicable) meetings?

4. how often do they go out canvassing?

If the answer to more than one question is less than in 1997, then I would respectfully ask what have they been doing about it for the last 11 years?
