Labour delivers better Agency/Temporary workers' rights
We should not get overly excited about the announcement of improved rights for Agency and Temporary Workers earlier today. But it is a step towards greater fairness in the jobs market, and less exploitation by employers. There is even grudging acknowlegement from the GMB, which of the big three general unions probably has least reason to be content with the direction of travel of the Brown Government. More work in progress than job done. Another issue for the policy review.
